We make our Key Lime soap with Key Lime essential oil in order to better allow the health benefits of this wonderful fruit to carry on in soap form. One of the amazing things about Key Limes is that they have a unique ability to exfoliate skin from citric acid! Citric acid is a very mild acid so it is able to cleanse off old dead cells, dirt, sweat, and anything else that might be clogging pores without actually doing damage to health skin cells!
Key Lime truly is a wonder working in this sense, it takes the best of both worlds and maintains a careful balance so that great skin health benefits can be realized that wouldn't be possible with if its acidity were much weaker or stronger.
